Over 90 years of history

 

1922

Based in Birmingham, the company was founded to supply a complete range of hygienic equipment to England.
 

1933

Started to manufacture a range of products, including milk coolers and positive displacement pumps.
 

1952

Launched a range of stainless steel centrifugal pumps for hygienic applications.
 

1959

Moved to purpose built factory and offices in Malvern, Worcestershire.
 

1994

Introduction of CAD/CAM.
 

1995

The new CH range of centrifugal pumps successfully completed the EHEDG (European Hygienic Equipment Design Group) in-place cleanability assessment.
 

1997

The new H range of centrifugal pumps were launched.
 

2000

Achieved IIP (Investors In People) standard
 

2002

Celebrated 80 years of business, by launching the new CR range of liquid ring self-priming pumps.
 

2003

Achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and IIP (Investors In People) reassessment.
 

2005

New high efficiency H161 centrifugal pump launched. Up to 33% more efficient and up to 40% greater head than the original H160.
 

2006

New high efficiency H191 and H221 centrifugal pumps launched.
 

2007

New high efficiency H141 and H241 centrifugal pumps launched (for pressures up to 3 bar & 10 bar).
 

2008

New high efficiency D121 centrifugal pumps launched (for pressures up to 2 bar).
 

2009

Achieved ISO 9001:2008. Extended the H range (H261, motors 30-75kW, 6" connections, higher flows)
 

2010

All pumps supplied from 1st January 2010 comply with the latest EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, are CE marked and have an EC certificate of conformity.

Manufacture Hastelloy pumps

 

2012

Launched new K3 range of strainers.
 

2014

Manufacture pumps with a maximum ferrite level of 5%.
